What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — like keeping you signed in — so the experience stays consistent. This Cookie Policy explains which cookies Intervyo uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It applies to our marketing site and the Intervyo web application.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to run the core product, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used so we can improve it. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the app to function; others are optional and only help us refine the experience. We do not use cookies to sell your data or to build advertising profiles.

Types of cookies we use

The cookies we set fall into three categories. Essential cookies are always on because the app cannot work without them. Preferences and analytics cookies are optional and can be disabled through your browser.

Run the core product and keep it secure. These are always on — the app cannot function without them.

session / authKeeps you signed in and maintains your session between requests.

csrf tokenProtects form submissions against cross-site request forgery.

routingRoutes your requests to the right server so sessions stay stable.

Preferences

Optional

Remember your choices so the interface behaves the way you left it. Optional — you can turn these off.

langStores your selected language so pages load in it.

ui stateRemembers layout, theme, and display preferences.

Analytics

Optional

Aggregated product-usage signals that show us what to improve. Never used to identify you personally. Optional.

usage metricsCounts visits and feature usage in aggregate.

performanceMeasures load times and errors so we can improve reliability.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that help us operate the service — for example, our authentication and infrastructure providers, and a privacy-conscious analytics provider that reports usage in aggregate. These providers process data under their own policies and only for the purposes described here. We do not permit third-party advertising cookies.

Managing or disabling cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings — usually under Privacy or Security — and can warn you before a cookie is stored. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge each document the exact steps in their help pages.

Note — Disabling essential cookies will sign you out and prevent core parts of the app — including live interview sessions — from working. Optional preference and analytics cookies can be turned off without breaking the product.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
