You don’t need a technical background — or any code — to run great AI interviews. This recipe sets up two common non-technical Roles: Customer Support and Sales. Both use a friendly screen plus a realistic roleplay Round where the AI plays a customer.
Everything here is done in the dashboard. If a word is unfamiliar, the one-liner is: a Role is the job, a Round is one step of the interview, and an Interviewer is the AI that runs a step.

Customer Support Specialist

Step 1 — Build the Interviewers (once)

InterviewerPersonaScores on
Friendly Screener”Hi, I’m Riya — tell me a bit about yourself.”Communication, empathy, motivation
Support Roleplay”I’m a frustrated customer whose order is late.”De-escalation, problem-solving, tone, policy use

Step 2 — Create the Role

Role: Customer Support Specialist · Use case: Hiring · Objective: “Can this person calm an upset customer and resolve the issue clearly?”

Step 3 — Add the Rounds

In the roleplay Round’s instructions, describe the scenario — “customer’s order is 5 days late and they want a refund” — so every candidate gets the same fair test.

Sales (Account Executive)

Step 1 — Build the Interviewers (once)

Friendly Screener”Hi, I’m Riya — let’s start with your background.”Communication, motivation, basics
Discovery Roleplay”I’m a skeptical prospect with a tight budget.”Discovery, objection handling, value framing

Step 2 — Create the Role

Role: Account Executive · Use case: Hiring · Objective: “Can this person run a discovery call and handle objections with confidence?”

Step 3 — Add the Rounds

Add people and go

Add candidates by name and email (or upload a CSV, or share the Role’s apply link). Schedule, and the AI runs each Round and sends you a scorecard with a recommendation — no manual scheduling or note-taking.
The same two Interviewers (Friendly Screener + a roleplay) work for almost any non-technical Role — receptionist, success manager, recruiter. Build them once and reuse them by creating new Roles.
